What can be bought here, what cannot, and why the terms are published before there is any money involved.
Wealth Signal has no advertising on it today. This page exists so that the terms are public before there is money involved, rather than negotiated afterwards with a first advertiser who has leverage.
What is available
- A sponsor line. One sponsor per section, named at the top of the page, marked as a sponsor, linked. No copy written by us about the sponsor.
- The newsletter, when it opens. One clearly-labelled placement per edition.
- Display advertising. If it happens it will be a standard network, and the privacy policy will be rewritten before a single tag is deployed — not after.
What is not available, at any price
- Sponsored articles, advertorial, or anything written by us and paid for by the subject.
- Affiliate links inside editorial. If a link ever pays us, it will be marked on the line where it appears, not disclosed once in a footer.
- Any influence over coverage, including the absence of coverage. A sponsor is not told in advance what we are publishing, and is not told about it afterwards either.
- Reader data. There is none to sell: no account system, no mailing list, no identifier, and analytics that count page views without knowing who read them.
The audience number, honestly
This site is new and small, and quoting a flattering figure here would be the first dishonest sentence on it. There is no rate card because there is not yet an audience worth pricing. Ask, and you will be sent the actual analytics — the real numbers, whatever they are that week — rather than a range.
What can be said with confidence is what the readership is like: people who read a five-hundred-word explanation of how a figure was sourced rather than bouncing off it. That is a small number of people and an unusually patient one.
How disclosure works
Any commercial relationship appears in three places: on the page carrying it, on About under Money, and in the editorial standards. If you would need to read the source to find out that something was paid for, it will not run.
